For The Record is an independent, mostly-music blog that focuses primarily on music coming from and to the Triangle area. It features information about upcoming shows, background on local bands, reviews of albums and inside looks at local music venues. We hope to serve an audience who is as passionate about music in general as well as the local music scene.
