Triangle Shows to Catch This Weekend

Thursday, February 27, 2014

Thank God it's Thursday? Maybe not, but we are one day closer to the weekend. Even though this weekend seems to be bringing along our #1 nemesis, the polar vortex, we're refusing to let that last burst of winter stop us from seeing some great shows. Here are some of great musical events you can catch this weekend in the Triangle. We can't wait to see everyone there!

Friday, February 28th at the Carolina Theatre in Durham.
This Miami-based post-modern country band has returned from an eight-year hiatus and is better than ever.

Friday, February 28th at PNC Arena in Raleigh.
Does this band even need any introduction? These legendary rockers will be at PNC Arena and going through their discography-- a must-see show for every Eagles fanatic.

Friday, February 28th at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro.
We spotlighted this Chapel Hill band on Tuesday, but be sure to check out their amazing sound-- and new album-- on Friday night!

Friday, February 28th at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh.
You may know Juicy J from his recent collaboration with Katy Perry, but he isn't a rapper you should discount. This Academy Award winner (for "Best Original Song" in 2006) will be at the Lincoln Theatre with his older brother and former Three 6 Mafia group member, Project Pat on Friday night.

Saturday, March 1st at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro.
Kellogg released his first solo album this summer and we can't wait to see what he displays at his first solo show at Cat's Cradle on Saturday!

Saturday, March 1st in Baldwin Auditorium at Duke University in Durham.
This French string quartet is sure to wow as part of the Duke Performances concert series.
