1. RAC (Remix Artist Collective) at Cat's Cradle - MARCH 19th
This group of international members are pros at re-creating and re-interpreting songs into playful dance/electronic mixes. RAC's music isn't quite like all of the typical electronic mashups you're used to; instead they recreate songs in an innovative, modern and unique way. Electronic shows have such a high energy and excitement, so if you've never been, be sure not to miss this show coming up next week!
2. The XX at Lincoln Theatre - APRIL 2nd
It would be a shame to miss this fabulous group coming to Raleigh in less than a month! The XX is sometimes referred to as "dream pop" which is a development of alternative rock - but with a reliance on sonic texture and numinous imagery. I can absolutely assure you this would be a totally unique experience. Tickets sold out quickly on the venue website but you can still find 'em on sites like Stub Hub.
3. The Zombies at Cats Cradle - APRIL 19th
For those of you who don't know, these guys were part of the infamous British Invasion in the 60's. They may not be as big as the Beatles or the Stones, but they had HUGE hits ("She's Not There" and "Time of the Season") and in my opinion, are quite underrated. The two front-men are still going strong - and are shockingly playing at our very own Cat's Cradle. This may be the last time to see this highly respected band, so don't miss it!
