Four for Friday: Four Triangle Concerts to See Friday Night

Thursday, March 6, 2014

Another week has come and gone and that's left us hopeful for two things: warm weather and great shows. Luckily, it looks like we'll be getting a mix of both, so enjoy some warmth while you can and check out these amazing acts that are coming to the Triangle tomorrow night!

Delta Rae
Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh at 8 P.M.

Delta Rae has been taking the folk scene by storm ever since their powerful set at Bonnaroo last year. The Durham-based band is back in the Triangle and we are looking forward to hearing their soaring vocals take over the Lincoln Theatre, where they'll be giving the sold-out audience a taste of their latest EP, Chasing Twisters

Toon & the Real Laww
Tir Na Nog in Raleigh at 9:30 P.M.

This Durham hip-hop duo has been making waves in the local scene, spending last weekend opening up for Juicy J at the Lincoln Theatre. This Friday they'll be at Raleigh's Tir Na Nog for a free show that's sure to be incredible.

Ex Hex
The Pinhook in Durham at 9 P.M.

Ex Hex, a new musical trio signed to the indie powerhouse (and Durham located) label, Merge Records will be performing at The Pinhook Friday. The first single "Hot and Cold," off of their debut album has already been heralded by Pitchfork as "...sheer glammed-out swagger." Count us in.

Oberhofer
Local 506 in Chapel Hill at 9 P.M.

This Brooklyn-based band has already released a promising debut album and we're sure their performance at the Local 506 in Chapel Hill will rocket the raucous band into your favorites.
