3 FREE Triangle Concert Series

Summer is quickly approaching, and one of the best things about the warm weather is being able to enjoy an outdoor live show. The Triangle has a ton of different outdoor live venues, but what's even better is that there are some really unique concert series. These events happen weekly, so your summer schedule will never be lacking music. We looked at some concert series that you can attend for FREE...right at home in the Triangle.

1. Music Off Main
Garner

This very small, very local music series takes place on the back lawn of Garner's Performing Arts Center. The series features local artists, many from Garner and Raleigh, including an impressive range of genres from reggae to country to R&B. 

2. Oak City 7

Downtown Raleigh

Oak City 7 is a vibrant concert series that takes place in City Plaza on Fayetteville St. They book a wide variety of local and regional artists, so if you want a taste of NC music, this wouldn't be a bad place to start.  The shows take place every Thursday all summer long. OH, and they feature local and craft beers too!

3. Midtown Beach Music Series

Raleigh

Shag your Thursday summer nights away at this Beach Music series that takes place at North Hills Mall. This series attracts people from all over the state and boasts that they feature the most famous beach bands around. 

These concert series offer Triangle citizens a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the summer weather and listen to great music. If you're tight on a budget this summer, this is a great way to see live music in the Triangle area.
